Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and MayR Labs (“we”, “us”), the makers of the MLabs Games website and the games on it. By downloading a game or using the website, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use them.
They apply to every MLabs game that doesn’t have its own terms. A game with its own terms, such as Naija Classic Games, follows those instead.
If you are under 18, please read these terms with a parent or guardian.
Using our games
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to download and use our games on devices you own or control, for your own enjoyment. A game’s store listing says whether it is free, has ads or offers purchases.
You agree not to:
- copy, modify, resell or redistribute our games, or publish modified versions of them;
- reverse engineer a game, or try to get around the checks that protect our services;
- send us spam, automated messages, or anything unlawful, abusive, hateful or misleading;
- use a game or the website in a way that could harm us, other players, or our services.
The app store you download from (Google Play or the App Store) also has its own terms that apply to your download.
Fiction and pretend money
Our games are works of fiction. People, parties, companies, places and events in them are made up, and any likeness to real ones is a coincidence unless a game says otherwise. Money, prices, prizes and amounts in a game are pretend and have no real-world value. Our games are not gambling and nothing in them can be exchanged for anything real.
Some games deal with grown-up themes, such as office politics, corruption or workplace drama. Each store listing shows the game’s age rating.
What belongs to whom
The games’ design, artwork, code, text and rules are ours and are protected by law. Traditional games that belong to everyone, such as Ludo or Draughts, stay that way: only our versions of them are ours.
Suggestions and feedback
We love hearing from you. When you send us a suggestion, game idea or feedback, you agree that we may use it to improve or add to our games, for free and without owing you anything. Please don’t send us anything that belongs to someone else or that you want to keep confidential. How we handle your information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Updates and availability
We may update a game to add content, fix problems or change features, and we may stop offering a feature or a game. We try to keep everything working, but we can’t promise that a game or the website will always be available or free of errors.
No warranty
Our games and website are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises beyond those in these terms, including about fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by events beyond our reasonable control. Our total liability to you for anything related to our games or website is limited to ₦10,000, or the amount you paid us for the game if that is higher. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
Ending these terms
You can stop using a game at any time by deleting it. We may suspend access to our online services (such as sending suggestions) if you break these terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If there’s a dispute, we’d like to sort it out together first, so please contact us. Otherwise, the courts of Nigeria will have jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll update the date at the top and, where it makes sense, tell you in the game. If you keep using a game after that, you accept the new terms.
